Safety and The Law
Rider Safety

Ryder Safety
Small children should be supervised when riding. Almost a third of all scooter-related injuries and accidents involve children under the age of eight. Electric Scooters do not afford much designed injury and accident protection and that is why protective equipment should be considered. If anything at least ride with a helmet…… and there are plenty of cool helmets to choose from. Protective equipment is a small investment in money and time….. and may save your life or protect you from a serious injury.
Another important safety issue to remember is the fact that drivers in cars may not see you….. you much keep an eye on them if you drive in traffic.
Do not underestimate the danger involved when riding a Motor Scooter or any 2 wheel type cycle.

Helmet:
The helmet is the most essential protection you can use for the safe riding! The helmet protects a rider against the worst kind of injury, an injury to the head. In many accidents, the use of a helmet has been the difference between life and death, or permanent paralysis for a number of riders.

Knee Pads, Elbow Pads and Good Shoes:
Although these are optional safety equipment they should be considered depending on the type of riding and the age of the rider, especially with kids who like to push the limits on any thing they are riding. Bare foot riding is bad idea ..... and you risk some bad injuries if something goes wrong. Knee and Elbow Pads are not expensive and easy to put on ... so get in the habit of using them.
